We are passionate about creating a safe outdoor space where older children and young adults
who may have a broad range of emotional and sensory needs and communication difficulties can feel supported, nurtured and encouraged to thrive.
Our sessions are designed to be fun, flexible and encourage creativity and connection with nature.
We are committed to providing the best possible Forest School experiences and are happy to create bespoke sessions for individuals or group sessions with one to one supervision.

Our focus is to provide the best possible Forest School that promotes confidence, resilience, self-regulation, and managed risk taking in a neuro diverse and inclusive way.
The Long-Term Principle
Forest School is a long-term process of frequent and regular sessions in a woodland or natural environment, rather than a one-off visit. Planning, adaptation, observations and reviewing are integral elements of Forest School.
The Nature Principle
Forest School takes place in a woodland or natural wooded environment to support the development of a relationship between the learner and the natural world.
The Risk Principle
Forest School offers learners the opportunity to take supported risks appropriate to the environment and to themselves.
The Holistic Learning Principle
Forest School aims to promote the holistic development of all those involved, fostering resilient, confident, independent and creative learners.
Behind every session is a team with a wealth of training.
As Level 3 Qualified Forest School Leaders we have varied backgrounds and very different career paths. These include providing scientific support in the NHS, a registered Music Teacher, a Tree Surgeon and an Agricultural Engineer.
Our Forest School is strengthened further by experience and qualifications in mindfulness and an Approved Practitioner status in Therapeutic Forest School approaches. This broad combination of qualifications and skills ensures that every learner is supported with sensitivity, professionalism and a deep understanding of how nature can nurture growth.

Forest School Sessions
At Wild Wood Forest School, every session is designed to support
the development of a relationship between the learner and the natural world, building confidence, resilience and a deeper connection to nature.
We specialise in creating a safe, inclusive Forest School with outdoor experiences that are tailored to the neurodiverse and emotional well being needs of the learners. Sessions are usually two hours, though this can be extended if required, and can take place either on your own site or in local woodlands.
