We are passionate about creating an outdoor space where older children and young adults who may have anxiety, trauma, sensory needs, communication difficulties and emotional dysregulation can feel supported and nurtured.
Our sessions provide flexible and creative activities that are supportive and fun for learners with all kinds of additional needs. We are committed to providing the best possible nature connection experiences and are happy to create bespoke sessions for individuals or group sessions with one to one supervision.
Our focus is to use the outdoor, woodland environment to promote confidence, resilience, self-regulation, and managed risk taking in a neurodiverse inclusive way.
We have arrived where we are from journeys of many different careers. Between us we have had decades of work as a Clinical Scientist in the NHS, as a fully qualified Tree Surgeon, as a fully qualified Music Teacher and an Agricultural Engineer.
Behind every session is a team with a wealth of training and experience in both outdoor education and emotional well-being.
As Level 3 Qualified Forest School Leaders, we bring together backgrounds in education, healthcare, and woodland management, underpinned by specialist training in supporting autism, neurodiversity, and specific learning difficulties. Our practice is strengthened further by therapeutic skills for outdoor leaders, mindfulness training, and approved practitioner status in therapeutic forest approaches. This combination of qualifications ensures that every learner is supported with sensitivity, professionalism, and a deep understanding of how nature can nurture growth.
Sessions
We specialise in creating safe, inclusive outdoor learning experiences tailored to neurodiverse needs and emotional well-being. Sessions are usually two hours, though they can be extended if required, and can take place either on your site or in local woodlands.
